Who we Are
The History of PG​
Where did it all begin?
Well, PG Accounting started our spare bedroom at my home, firstly as a sole trader back in 1999. Before long I had to convert the garage and worked from there for a while, at this point taking on my first employee.
In 2002 I set up PG Accounting Services Limited as it is still known today.
However, as the business grew, we made the venture into our first offices on Austhorpe Road at Crossgates.
Six years on and as the business continued to grow. we were on the moved again, although not far away. We moved into an office suite at Crossgates House, where we are today.

Although we are based in Crossgates, we have clients in all areas of Leeds and some even further afield.
Our client range in size, from small one man band sole trader businesses, all the way up to multi million pound turnover business. Whatever you size, we have a solution for you.
We pride ourselves on the personal touch and work closely with you to find a service that is tailored to your individual needs.
At PG Accounting we feel that we're big enough to cope, but small enough to care. A company where the client always comes first.

Meet the Boss
I'm Paul Swift, the owner and founder of PG Accounting Services, which I set up back in 2002 after ten years of working in accountancy, both in public practice and as a management accountant in industry at a property development company. Whilst working in practice I studied and gained my Association of Accounting Technicians qualification.
I'm married to Michaela, who is the co-owner an co director of PG Accounting Services and has worked with me in the business since day one. A test indeed for any marriage!!
We have two children, Liam aged 15 and Libby 12, where we all live together in Aberford.
I'm also a Level 1 football coach and also help manage my son's local under 15 team. I'm also the club treasurer (surprise surprise!!).
My other interests outside of accountancy are mountain biking and if I really need cheering up, watching Leeds United.
As you'll see from our history above, I've now been involved in accountancy for twenty five years and have seen all the things that a business goes through during it's lifetime.
